Play is a BIG DEAL for our little people.
Play provides opportunities for children to learn as they discover, create, improvise and imagine.
Playing with others helps children develop cooperative and conflict resolution skills. They are able to test out ideas, challenge each other’s thinking and build new understandings.
It is recognised by the United Nations as a child's fundamental right as it is the way that they learn about their world.
Children use PLAY as the medium to practise and rehearse new skills to develop competency. They don't even realise they're learning because it is so natural!
Play provides a supportive environment where children can ask questions, solve problems and engage in critical thinking.
Play allows children to creatively express their ideas and explore their world through songs, dress-ups, art materials, language and movement.
Running, jumping and MOVING when playing helps develop coordination, balance and set boundaries for physical limits.
Our mission is to champion PLAY in the early years and to support and empower parents to raise competent, caring and kind children.
Our online resources help parents step into their personal power, harnessing the collective knowledge, experience and expertise of our community to inject joy, playfulness and connection into their lives with young children.
